Major players who previously sat on the sidelines have entered the arena almost simultaneously: Huawei launched smart glasses weighing only 35.5 grams; Apple secured a patent for AR glasses optical bridges; and Tencent and Meituan participated in a $150 million Series B funding round for Yeeven Technology. At WAIC 2026, over 20 AI glasses models were exhibited, with manufacturers like Rokid, iFlytek, and Qianwen competing fiercely in lightweight design, business translation, and native operating systems.
